Adult Riding Programs

Here at Casperey Stables, we emphasize a safe, family-style environment, and this means people of all ages are encouraged to participate. In other words, grown-ups can tack up and take the reins, too!

It’s never too late to start a new hobby – or pick up an old one – and we happen to think horseback riding is among the most fun. So whether you’re craving an adrenaline rush in a competition arena, or just a leisurely ride through our South Florida trails, we’re here to help you meet your goals.

As an onlooker, you might feel that riding is just the ability to walk, trot, steer and stop a 1000 pound animal without falling off.  After all, the horse does all the work, right?  Wrong!  There is much more to riding a horse than most people might expect.  In addition to the pure enjoyment, there are physical, mental and even emotional or spiritual benefits.  Horseback riding is a sport that people of all ages can learn and enjoy.  As many people approach their middle years, they may find they have both the time and means to enjoy learning this sport or to re-discover the love of horses that they had as a youngster. 

With this in mind, we offer varying lessons packages based off of your personal goals. Individual lessons vary in price from $45 to $60, with discounts offered for those taken on a monthly basis. Click here to check out our different lessons opportunities and see which is the best fit for you!

Casperey Stables horsemen and horsewomen love the Morning Ride, as it offers a fun, laid-back ride without the formality of an official lesson. Supervised by one of our down-to-earth instructors, this ride is casual and catered to your specific desires that day.

Riders have an hour-and-a-half to tack up, chat with each other and their instructor, and ride at their own paces in the arena. The Morning Ride usually ends with a relaxing stroll through the Casperey Stables trails, a cool-down for both horse and rider.

Every horse needs a home, and happy, healthy horses and riders are top priority at Casperey Stables. When your horse boards with us, he is not just another thousand-pound animal; he is a part of our Casperey family. As such, his well-being is at the forefront of our minds, and we do everything we can to ensure his comfort, safety and good health.
